Lab-grown diamonds are now practically indistinguishable from mined diamonds. Scientists and engineers see a world of possibilities; jewelers are less enthusiastic. African warlords have used diamond caches to buy arms and fund rebel movements for decades. Now, with lab-grown diamonds, no one is harmed in the process.

Gemesis Cultured Diamonds
July 2, 2008 by ballyhooI have chosen not to purchase a diamond ever again unless it’s from this company. I actually used a diamond from my mother for my center stone on my engagement ring, that was given to me after her passing. Before you consider buying a diamond for your loved ones, I encourage you to educate yourself on the web first. Please check out this company, they are doing amazing things:
Wired magazine has a brilliant article on the company and it’s founder and can be read here:

I have seen these diamonds in person and they are a thing of beauty. Flawless. And most importantly, not mined. I have high hopes for this company and this budding new Diamond Industry. I think they and others like them will use their rocks to cut through the old Dinosaur Diamond Industry and melt it like butter. And no, I do not work for them. I’m just a Pixel-Pixie on a wild tear…
Hello Suckers!
July 2, 2008 by ballyhooWelcome to my blog. I’ve created this site to tell of my experience buying an engagement ring and wedding band from the so-called World’s Biggest Engagement Ring Store. So far my experience has been that they should change their name to the title of my blog. THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE DIAMOND INDUSTRY is now available exclusively at Robbins Brothers! They will take your money for a custom ring and 6 weeks later produce a ring or rings of lesser quality than what you ordered. It’s Genius! Please check back in the coming weeks for my story. I’ll post photos, receipts and contact info, so you can enjoy the experience as much as I have! Of course posting your experiences with the Diamond Industry is encouraged, so come along, we’ll have a bang-up time!
